What is WAIXERA?
WAIXERA is a web and digital agency in Cagnes-sur-Mer on the French Riviera, specialising in showcase and e-commerce websites, redesigns, usability and SEO, AEO and GEO.
Where is WAIXERA based and which areas do you cover?
WAIXERA is at 13 rue du Bocage, 06800 Cagnes-sur-Mer. We work across the Côte d'Azur (Nice, Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Villeneuve-Loubet, Antibes, Cannes, Vence) and remotely throughout France.
Who is behind WAIXERA?
WAIXERA has been running since 2009. The agency is run by Astrid van Tiel, a web expert with an MBA in marketing (Arizona State University) and over 20 years of experience in web development, e-commerce and digital strategy.
Do you work in English?
Yes. Astrid is fluent in English and French, so English-speaking business owners on the Riviera can work with us entirely in English.

Websites and the editor
Are your websites custom or template-based?
Custom only: every website is designed for your goals and brand, with no pre-made template.
How much does a showcase website cost?
€500 for the AI Visibility Website (up to 5 pages). The editor is €140 as an option.
How much does an e-commerce website cost?
It depends on the catalogue, features and logistics. We provide a free, personalised quote.
How long does it take?
One week for a showcase website, longer for an online shop. It also depends on when your content is ready.
How does the WAIXERA editor work?
The editor is built into your website: click a text to edit it or a photo to replace it, then publish. No software to install, and the layout always stays clean.
Will my website be mobile-friendly?
Yes, all our websites are responsive and optimised for smartphones, tablets and desktops.
Do you use AI to build websites?
Yes, as an assistant for structure, copywriting and optimisation. Every piece of content is checked, personalised and approved by our team, in line with the EU AI Act.
SEO, AEO, GEO
What's the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?
SEO targets Google's classic results, AEO targets direct answers (snippets, voice assistants), and GEO targets your brand being cited by generative AI.
How does WAIXERA improve my chances of being cited by AI?
We work on what really matters: clear answers, semantic markup, structured data, your Google profile, your reviews and your authority (E-E-A-T). The llms.txt file is a small extra. No citation is guaranteed, but your business gives itself every chance.
When will I see results?
Usually 3 to 6 months for SEO, sometimes sooner for your Google Business Profile.
Do you audit existing websites?
Yes: technical, speed, usability (UX), SEO and AEO/GEO visibility, with a concrete action plan.
Hosting, maintenance and contact
Where are websites hosted?
With reliable European hosts such as OVH or LWS, with an SSL certificate (HTTPS). Domain and hosting are in your name.
Can I edit my website's code?
Your website's design and code are built and maintained by WAIXERA so it stays fast, secure and well ranked. You change your text and photos with the editor; for anything else (new page, new section, layout) we step in at €40/hour or on quote.
Do you offer maintenance?
Yes. You can change everything with the editor, or let us handle maintenance and changes at €40/hour.
What if my website goes down?
We step in quickly to diagnose, fix and restore your website from backups.
